Essay Contest for financial assistance towards flight instruction (Must currently be enrolled in a flight school program)

Essay Topic – Why are you pursuing flying and how do you apply Cajun’s 4 Ps to Prosperity to your journey?

*you must complete the 2 part essay & submit a letter of recommendation

Awards Available: 4 in the Fall & 4 in the Spring

Award Amount: $1500.00 paid directly to flight school

Important Application Dates

Spring Application Start Date: 2/1/2027

Spring Application End Date: 3/4/2027

 

Fall Application Start Date: 10/1/2026

Fall Application End Date: 10/31/2026

 

Fly With Cajun Application

  • Recipients must already be enrolled in a flight school to be eligible for the award

  • Award is paid directly to the flight school that the recipient is enrolled at.

  • Recipients are responsible for their own transportation to and from the flight school

  • Eligibility: Must be 14-24 years old

  • Recipients will be notified via email roughly 2 weeks after application deadline

  • Must provide all info requested to be considered
