Nascar Coca-Cola 600 Recap - Memorial Day Weekend 2023

This Memorial Day weekend our Gold Star Family was chosen to attend the Coca-Cola 600 Miles of Remembrance Race in Charlotte, NC. The USAF Thunderbirds and TSgt Wagstaff with Air Force Recruiting coordinated our hero, Maj. Stephen “Cajun” Del Bagno to be raced on the #43 Thunderbird themed race car driven by Erik Jones. The weather did not cooperate for us, but we still had the most incredible weekend! A huge shout out to Legacy Motor Club, Maury Gallagher, TSgt Wagstaff, Nascar, Erik Jones, Richard “The King” Petty, Jimmie Johnson, Nascar Hall of Fame, and every one else that was a part of the weekend. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for hosting our family, letting us share Cajun’s story, and honoring all the fallen. There won’t ever be enough words to properly express our gratitude.
